Krewella‘s first ever performance in Pakistan by black box sounds! Krewella is an American electronic dance music band from Chicago. Their musical style has been mainly described as EDM, dance-rock, and dance-pop. Black Box Sounds threw an unforgettable music festival in Lahore, rocking the city with international artists for the very first time in Pakistan! With none other than Krewella headlining, it was an epic night to remember!
Krewella, the American Electronic Dance Music band consisting of sisters Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf has been rocking premier EDM venues such as Tomorrowland, Coachella, iHeartRadioMusicFestival, and Ultra Music Festival among many others.
Champion of true resistance, Krewella remains rooted in its high-energy dance music and incorporates elements of Bollywood, trap, rock, and pop. We are super excited to be bringing them to Pakistan for their first-ever live performance here. Let us show Krewella that Pakistan knows how to party!
Women Festival 2020: Aurat, aman ki safeer | LAC

Black Box Sounds (BBS) in collaboration with the Lahore Arts Council (LAC) held a festival dedicated to women, titled: “Women Festival 2020: Aurat, Aman ki Safeer (Women, Ambassadors of Peace)” on International Women’s Day (March 8, 2020) to celebrate women’s achievements in CVE and other areas. The objective was to provide the women beneficiaries of CRA with a platform to impart the knowledge they have gained, and to build networks with other participants through which they can expand their continued efforts for CVE.
The project was designed to hold a peace festival around International Women’s Day in the Lahore Arts Council (LAC), to increase opportunities of collaboration for targeted CRA women beneficiaries on peace initiatives by showcasing their work at the event, and signing MOU between LAC, UE and PU.
The activity objectives included to bring together a diverse group of women leaders from various fields and walks of life; to increase exposure to local culture of peace, tolerance, acceptance and positive messaging, to increase acceptance of diverse backgrounds in targeted communities and to create awareness regarding women rights and enhanced tolerance within and across communities. The project objectives included signing of MOUs between Lahore Arts Council and two Universities i.e. University of the Punjab and University of Education for future collaborations. The project also aimed to facilitate and engage student societies of AeP beneficiary universities in Lahore and Multan to conduct post event SAPs based on the learning of the women festival, with a target of engaging 50-60 students per SAP. These SAPs are meant to serve as a stepping stone towards a long-term association between the universities and the LAC under the MOUs.
Mad Decent Block Party Pakistan

Black Box Sounds organized Pakistan's first international music festival, the Mad Decent Block Party (MDBP) Pakistan, which remains to be the talk of the town till date.
Spearheaded by Diplo, the award winning American producer, DJ, songwriter and record executive, the Mad Decent Block Party has been touring across cities since 2008 with a mission to curate and promote new music. This was its first appearance in Pakistan.
Attended by more than 10,000 people from across the country, it took Pakistan by storm. People also flew in from the U.K and the UAE to witness this history in the making. It became a never-before-seen music diplomacy initiative, opening the doors for international musicians to Pakistan.

Sahara UK at Islamabad Club

Black Box Sounds successfully orchestrated a vibrant evening at Islamabad Club, featuring the renowned Sahara UK Band on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. The event, held on the club’s Back Lawn, drew an enthusiastic crowd who reveled in Sahara UK’s dynamic performance. The band captivated the audience with energetic renditions of popular Punjabi hits, including Karan Aujla’s “White Brown Black” and Jazzy B’s “Jenay Mera Dil Luteya.” The night culminated with the crowd-favorite “Lal Ghaghra,” leaving attendees with lasting memories of an unforgettable musical experience.
